He is survived by: his parents, Velma Mateair and John Fernandez; his grandmother Mary Ellen; his spouses, Phyllis Kuhnke and Key West; his children, John Fernandez III of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Mary Ellen F Chasteen of Merritt Island, FL; his grandchildren, Amber C Levinson (Mike) of Ketchikan, AK, Ian Fernandez of Virginia Beach, VA, Travis Chasteen of Merritt Island, FL, Trevor Chasteen (Heidi) of Rockledge, FL and Tanner Chasteen of Cocoa, FL; his great grandchildren, Chloe Levinson, Emma and Owen Chasteen; and his stepdaughter Janean Noah of San Antonio, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
