He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lee and Ila Mae Currie; his wife Mary Cobb Currie; his son William Arthur Currie; and his brother David Lee Currie.
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen McBride (John), Carol Chaires (Terry) and John Currie (Nancy); his sisters, Donna Blackistone (David) and Rosemary Blackington (Bob); and his stepchildren, Cecil Dunn (Michelle), Barbara Cross and Theresa Becks. He is also survived by six grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
