He is survived by: his sons, Robert Eugene Murphy Jr., Michael Edward Murphy and Adam Thomas Murphy; and his daughters-in-law, Rowena Murphy and Brenda Murphy. He is also survived by five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, three brothers, and four sisters.
