He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Allen Josey and Virginia Mixon Josey; his brother James L. "Randy" Josey; and his grandparents, Milo, Missouri Josey, Ranzy and Bessie Mixon.
He is survived by: his close friend Larry Houser; his sister Paula "Sheryl" Wetzel (Roger); his son Kenneth Richard Josey; his nieces and nephews, Nicole Ramirez (Jose), Paula Keating (Tom), Levi Wetzel and Ty Wetzel; his uncle John Mixon (Sue); and his aunt Dorothy Jordan.
