She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph W Bailey and Mildred Thelma Bailey (Burgess); her brother Michael Bailey; and her grandson Thomas Weldon Powell. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Shelton; and her children, Leilani Powell (Tom), Pete Shelton (Emily) and John Shelton.

The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Pine Forest UMC 'Children's' Ministry.
