She was predeceased by: her parents, Albertia Hales and Cecil Hales; her sons, David B. Castleberry and James Castleberry; her grandson David A. Castleberry; and her sister Linda Miller.

She is survived by: her husband Daniel Castleberry; her son Stephen Castleberry; her siblings, Judy Pries (Otto) and Glenn Hales; and her grandson Alan Castleberry. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
