She was predeceased by: her parents, Caldonia Lett and Frank Nettles, Jr.; her former husband Rev. Jasper C. Heard; her husband Rev. J. C. Heard; her son Ronald Heard; her grandson Keyonte Brooks; and her siblings, Pheola Little, Ransom Lett-Lee, Bill Lett, James Lett and Elroy Lett. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
