He was predeceased by: his parents, Shelby L. Walters, Sr. and Ruth Cowan Walters; and his brothers, Tommy Walters and Shelby "Satch" Walters, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Hilary Adkerson Walters; his sister Abby Walters (Dorothy Hudson); his daughter Samantha Walters (Sam Morisset); his granddaughter Shayna Morisset; his sister-in-law Kelly Walters; his nieces, Molly Mahtani (Sean) and Hannah Walters (Matthew Berry); his nephew Eric Walters; and also, Reed Berry and Shelby Ann Mahtani.
