With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Isham Dykes (Cantonment, Florida), who passed away on June 10, 2019 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Virginia Phillips Dykes and William Lee Dykes; his wife Barbara; his sons, Chip, Deke, Keith (Brooke) and Jimmy (Jessica); his grandchildren, Taylor, Gunnar, Peyton, Parker and Miller; and his brother Edwin Dykes.

In lieu of flowers, the family asked that contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
