He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elmer Luther and Mattie Lee Neal May (Smith); his wife Mary Francis Lee Neal (Barlow); and his children, Randall "Randy" Edgar Neal (Brandi Alice), Sheila Diane Gibbs (James Robert "Bobby"), Shirley Jane Williams (Jesse Williams) and Shelby Jean Douglas (Michael Douglas). He was also cherished by eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
