She was predeceased by: her parents, Wiley Mitchell and Floria Mitchell; her husband Gerald Dawson; her daughters, Cheryl Lynn Clark and Debbie Renee Clark; her siblings, Irene Madden, Velma Givens, Ellie Ratliff, Mitchell and Earl Mitchell; her great grandchild Hunter Clark; and her grandson Troy Dawson.
She is survived by: her son Charles Gregory Clark; her stepchildren, Darin Dawson and Stephanie McClendon (Mike); her grandchildren, Kerry Watts, Tracy Lolley (Michael), Holly Campbell, Michael Clark (Karra), Brett Williams, Tres Dawson and Brendan McClendon; her great grandchildren, Miranda, Katilyn, Haley, Hannah, Kelsey, Hayden and Harmony; her sisters, Mildred Thomas, Grace Riffe, Shirley Braswell (James), Shelia Pickels (Kenny) and Sue Murray; her daughter-in-law Dawn Clark; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Mitchell. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
