He was predeceased by: his parents, Blanche Abbott and Carl Ray Capehart; and his brother Richard Capehart. He is survived by: his wife Helen C. Capehart; and his sons, Edward Capehart and Lewis. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces, and nephews.
