He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny B McKinnie and Catherine Chestnut McKinnie; and his brother Gregg McKinnie. He is survived by: his children, Michael Williams Aaron Jones (Andrica) of McDonough, GA, Talluya McKinnie of Crestview, FL, Angel McKinnie and Miya Spaulding (Daniel); his grandchildren, Jamarian Speights, Leira McKinnie, Peyton Jones, David Luchessi and Nova Jones; and his siblings, Cynthia Rowe Sharonia (Gene), Ida Cooper (Alan Sr) and Garry McKinnie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many aunts, uncles and close cousins.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Sylvania Heights Church of Christ (304 Tilden St NW, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548).
