He is survived by: his siblings, Evelyn Applewhite, Monica Applewhite, Joyce Henry Applewhite, Stanley Applewhite, Merlyn Applewhite, Franklyn Applewhite and Mervyn Applewhite; his spouse Evelina; and his children, Sean Boyce (North Carolina), Edwin Applewhite, Legretta Applewhite, Evetta Applewhite (Buffalo) and Sherwin Applewhite. He is also survived by his children, siblings, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and, countless friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:15 PM at the Macedonia M. B. Church (717 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Panama City, FL 32401).
