He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew McKinnie Sr. and Earon Ward McKinnie; and his siblings, Theodore Roosevelt McKinnie, Jessie McKinnie, Ola Mae Lytte, Annie Lee Davis, Irene Reed, Bernice M. William and Earon M. Gibson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jewel McKinnie and Matthew McKinnie Jr.; and his nephew Robert Williams (Tammy).
