With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Major McKinnie of Campbellton, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 6, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew McKinnie Sr. and Earon Ward McKinnie; and his siblings, Theodore Roosevelt McKinnie, Jessie McKinnie, Ola Mae Lytte, Annie Lee Davis, Irene Reed, Bernice M. William and Earon M. Gibson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jewel McKinnie and Matthew McKinnie Jr.; and his nephew Robert Williams (Tammy).
Viewing was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Shira Sr. and Chelcie Memorial Chapel (5304 Bowden Hill Rd, Campbellton, FL 32426). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Phillip Missionary Baptist Church (5002 Holyneck Rd, Campbellton, FL 32426).
