He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mothers, Eva Patterson Cook and Dessie Roland Cook; his wife Betty Pickett Cook; his sons, William Kindree Cook, Jr. and Robert Patterson Cook (Michele); his grandchildren, Dr. William Burgess Cook, Robert Patterson Cook, Jr. (Elizabeth) and Caroline Michele Cook; and his sisters, Kathryn Cook Cox, Betty Cook Miller and Kate Cook Raulerson (Ray). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews and dear friends.
