He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Jones Whipp; his sons, Shannon Whipp (Robyn) and John Whipp (Cassandra); and his grandchildren, Jason Whipp, Nathanael Whipp, Jeremiah Whipp, John Michael Whipp, Allesandra Whipp, Johne Nelson, Eric Nelson (Kristen) and Brittnay Adams (Michael). He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
