With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernice Lankford of Callahan, Florida, who passed away on March 7, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Vernice Lankford to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Jane; his daughter-in-law Pam; and his brother Johnny. He is survived by: his children, Renee (Dan) and Steve (Denise); his brother Larry; his sister-in-law Dale Lankford; and his grandchildren, Laura, Steven (Julianne), Ashley (Kevin) and Leslie (Neil). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cedar Bay Funeral Home (405 New Berlin Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
