She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Smith and Lucy Vickers Smith; and her brother Robert Smith. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Kenneth Rice and Karen Brydon (Don); her grandchildren, A. J. Rice, Erin Rice, Megan Johnson, Pat Chambers and Peggy Wolfe; and her brother Larry Smith.
