He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hamilton and Vera Louise Selphe Roth; his sisters, Shirley Manning and Sandra Gresham; and his niece Regina Ramey.

He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Sherry Hutchinson (Kimbal), Lynn Pack, David Manning (Melissa) and Nancy Manning.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to his church; Marietta Church of God Jacksonville, Florida.
