She is survived by: her daughters, Essence McKnight (Jay) and Selena Rice (Mike); her grandchildren, Shamiah Humphries, Jake McKnight and Tyler McKnight; her sisters, Annette Wilbert (Steve) and Brenda Wilbert; her nieces, Victoria Blue, Lisa Bryant, Keva Cooper, Teri Cooper and Candis Wilbert; her nephew Walter Cooper; her sisters-in-law, Joanne Cooper and Dorothy Wilbert Hanks; her close friends, Vicky Woods, Valerie Brown, Lula Mae Williams and Betty Williams; her friends, Randy Boatwright, Craig Mason and Kevin Walker; her godfather Ivory Melton, Sr.; and her cousin Gail Moore. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
