He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther W. Fuqua and Ida Lockie Dover; his brother Stephen Fuqua; and his nephew Duane Waugh. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Fuqua of Callahan, Florida; his sons, Earl F., Eric and Phillip VelDink (Donna) of Jacksonville, Florida; his sister Elaine Dodgen (Jack) of Rock Mart, Georgia; his aunt Myra Beck; his cousins, Rhonda Weathington (Billy), Vicki Daughtry, Donna Grogan Higdon and Romy Dover (Sharon); and his nieces, Angie Lester (Rex) and Cindy Fason (Timmy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
