He is survived by: his wife Myrna; his children, Marjorie Ramos (Charles), Josephine Vissers (Devin Agustin) and Lawrence Vissers II (Sara); his grandsons, Taylor Vissers and Justin Webb; and his siblings, Joseph Vissers (Betty), Leo Vissers (Cecilia), Peter Vissers (Karla), Patricia Hock (Frank), Ellen Del Marcelle (late Lewis), Lucille Minten (Robert), Marie Kocken (Donald), Ruth VanDomelen (John) and Anita Ambrosius (Vernon). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
