He was predeceased by: his parents, Montgomery Broward and Ella Mae Phillips Broward; his wife Gwendolyn Broward; his siblings, Charles Broward, Tommy Broward and Agnes Batten; and his granddaughter Laura Caroline Dinkins.
He is survived by: his children, Tamara Dinkins (David) and Theron Broward; his brother Curtis Terrell (Bonnie); and his grandchildren, Michael Dinkins (Chelsie), Jonathan Dinkins (Alyssa) and Ella Dinkins. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
