It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jewell Hinton of Callahan, Florida, born in Ellisville, Mississippi, who passed away on August 9, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Doyle Ciecro Pitts and LuElla Ellzey Pitts; and her husband Nollie Hinton. She is survived by: her children, Michael L. Hinton (Jeannie), Janet Hinton Scharf (Michael) and Brenda Hinton Reed; her grandchildren, Christie Shaffer Angela (Brian), Jimmy "Ray" Shaffer, II (Ashleigh), Jenrtie Hinton Moore (Shane), Michael L. Hinton, II and Asher J. Hinton; and her great grandchildren, Garrett Anglea, Morgan Anglea, Max S. Moore, Nollie J. Moore and Adaline Shaffer. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
