He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hooper and Helen Hooper; and his siblings, Jerry, Marvin, Roy, Ricky, Wanda McFarland and Rebecca Bargett (Becky).

He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Hooper (Stephanie) and Tina Pearson; and his sisters, Linda Babbitt, Peggy Vance and Nora Seaton. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
