Wingate of Callahan, Florida, born in Decatur, Georgia, who passed away on October 14, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Wingate and Ellen Wingate; his former wives, Lee Wingate and Gwen Wingate; and his son Paul Hogan.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Wheat (Billy) and Nina McMillan (Roger); his grandchildren, Valorie Beam (Danny), Melanie Kelly, Justin Williams, Blair Williams and Abigail Beaty (Tyler); and his great grandchildren, Kayla, Jason, Amber, Ryan, Corey (April), Summer, Emma, Thomas, Adriana, Lucas, Brian and Gracelyn.
