He was predeceased by: his wife Betty; and his daughter Donna Lynn Burch (Troy Burch). He is survived by: his children, Jack B. Burns, Jr. and Jennifer L. Mezera (Scott); his grandchildren, Derrick Burch (Kelsey), Josh Burch (Mabry), Zack Mezera (Kayla), Jacob Mezera (Jaylen), Alec Mezera (Elizabeth), Caleb Mezera and Ryland Burns; his great grandchildren, Kynlie Guynn, Gannon Guynn, Ryan Burch and Rori Mezera; and his brother Robert "Bobby" Burns (Delores). He is also survived by nephews that were more like sons and many friends he loved.
