It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iris Rae of Callahan, Florida, born in Dehue, West Virginia, who passed away on July 7, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Holton and Ruby Rutherford Holton; and her siblings, Joe Holton, Darrell "Toad" Holton and Virginia Jane Melton.
She is survived by: her husband Gary L. Higginbotham; her daughters, Keri Higginbotham of Callahan, FL and Melissa Higginbotham Green (Donald) of Callahan, FL; her siblings, Jack Holton of Hilliard, FL, Cecil Holton (Carole) of Bryceville, FL and Patty Powers (Wayne) of Jacksonville, FL; her sister-in-law Sharilyn Higginbotham Meares; and her grandchildren, Kyle Carranza, Kash Raulerson, Ethan Green and Evan Green. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
