He was predeceased by: his parents, Hampton Sullivan Bennett, Sr. and Maudie Olivia Wilder Bennett; and his brother Charles Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Harrold Bennett; his children, Hampton "Rusty" Bennett, III (Pam), Lisa Rayburn (Tom), Judson Bennett (Melinda) and Marsha Veal (Robert); his grandchildren, Josh Rayburn (Brittany), Kristopher Bennett (Randi Jean), Joni Rayburn (Donal), Jenni Pike (Thomas), Sara Wynn (Jason), Lorin Jakes (Chris), Judson Bennet, II (Noel) and Travis Veal (Abigail); and his great grandchildren, Lyle, Katelynn, Sydney, Conner, Nyla, Riley "Hampton", Landen, Natalee, Cooper, Callie, Kailey, Logan, Layden, Nate, Damari, Judson, III, Donisha, Laila, Xavier, John and Chandler. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
