He was predeceased by: his parents, Neal Hampton Thompson and Vera Crews Thompson; his siblings, Lillian May Thompson, Edgar Lee Thompson and Henry Edward Thompson; and his son George Brenton Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey Murray Thompson; his son Michael Thompson (Monique); his granddaughters, Megan Ocean (Joshua), Kayla Thompson and Hannah Thompson; and his great grandchildren, Jayden Ocean, Liam Ocean and Emmalyn Ocean.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that money be donated to the Store House Ministry at Callahan First.
