He was predeceased by: his father Donald Rudolph Cole; and his sister Lea Reed. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Cole; his sons, Ernie Cole, Jr. (Dana) and Jake Cole; his grandchildren, Drake Cole, Madison Cole, Brinlee Cole and Addilynn Cole; his father-in-law Jimmy White, Sr.; his brother-in-law Jimmy White, Jr.; and his siblings, Doug Cole (Melissa), Martin Cole (Mamie), Rudy Cole (Joanne), Linda Knowles and Jane Crawford (Randy).
In lieu of flowers, family and friends may choose to send a love donation to Grace's House in care of Callahan First Baptist Church.
