It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Lucile Perona of Callahan, Florida, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on July 19, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Guth and Carrabell Hewitt Guth; her husband Ronald Eugene Perona; her son Anton Perona; her daughter-in-law Charlotte Perona; her brothers, Dick, Herbert and Bill Guth, Jr.; and her brother-in-law Richard Schertz.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Stephanie; her children, Rhonda McClure (Darrell) of Bradenton, FL, Peggy Taylor (James Miller) of Jacksonville, FL, Beverly Pearson (Mark) of Ocala, FL, Dawn Scott (Michael) of Angleton, TX, Brenda Dunwoody (Ed) of Middleburg, FL and Ronald Eugene Perona, II of Jacksonville, FL; and her sister Marilyn Schertz of Washburn, IL. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren.
