He is survived by: his wife Diane Smolder of Callahan, FL; his children, Donald Smolder, III (Peggy), Scott Smolder (Jessica), Brian Smolder (Dana), Nita Collins (Keith), Melissa Monday (James), William Smith (Beth Nichols), Angelia Young (Robert) and James Smith; his sisters, Karen Williams and Sharon Martini (John); and his mother-in-law Dottie Hartley. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
