He was predeceased by: his siblings, Earl, Rev Willard, Charles, Melton of Rowland's Upholstery, James, Franklin Rowland, Pauline Holloway, Montene Rowland, Dora Purvis, Emily Beasley and Norma Newsome; and his grandson Gavin Rowland.
He is survived by: his wife Ann; his children, Steve Overstreet Jacksonville Al (Catherine), Dexter Lee Rowland Jr. and Toni Chancey Baxley Ga (Austin); and his sister Virginia Beasley (Grand) of Blackshear Ga. He is also survived by Great Grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Burgess Chapel of Oxley-Heard Funeral Directors (1305 Atlantic Ave, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
