It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cleo Flake (Callahan, Florida), born in Fernandina Beach, Florida, who passed away on October 6, 2019, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Rufus Hall and Easter Hall; her husband Larry "Buddy" Flake of Callahan, Florida; her children, Eric Friedmann (Heather) of Yulee, Linda Bell of Crossville, Jerrie Cobb (Tony) of Crossville, Omega Maddox of Crossville, Larry Flake II (Laura) of Crossville and Dusty Flake (Dale) of Callahan; and her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Owens (Albert) and Betty Cole (Jack). She was also cherished by 14 grandchildren and several great-grand children.
The family requests that donations be made in her name to Nassau Humane Society, 639 Airport Road, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034.
