Betty Gordy Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Gordy of Callahan, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 26, 2024 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Gordy to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George L. Strickland and Mable Hopkins Strickland; her husband Albert P. Gordy, Jr.; her siblings, Pearl Graham, Ida "Betty" Allen, Tom Strickland, George Strickland, Robert Strickland, Lawton Strickland and Joseph A. Strickland; and her grandson Harley Bass.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Davis (Scott), Albert P. Gordy, III (Tanya) and Henry Aldridge (Diana); her grandchildren, Scottie Davis (Tina), Christopher Davis and Cheyenne Gordy; and her great grandchildren, Brooke Davis, Laynee Davis and Brynn Davis.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Nassau Funeral Home (541720 US-1, Callahan, FL 32011). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
