It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Avery Lee Rowell Sr. of Callahan, Florida, born in Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on February 16, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Rowell and Vernie Celista Dixon Rowell; his son Henry Lee Rowell; and his siblings, Rabbit Rowell, Eddie Fletcher and Gradenia Rowell.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Rowell; his children, Avery L. Rowell, Jr. (Ginny), Amanda Rowell-Bell (Jeremy) and David W. Rowell (Bailey); his siblings, Carl Chirico, Rickey Cason, Linda Jones and Bunny McMahan; his grandchildren, Matthew Rowell (Megan), Caralyn Bell, Monica Rowell, Dalton Rowell (Brittany), Lauren Rowell, Abbygail Bell and Willie D. Rowell; and his great grandchildren, Guinevere and Kristi.
