He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. McCracken and Grace Teagarden McCracken; his siblings, Helen Carpenter, Esther Conklin, Ruth Rusinko, Marion McCracken and William A. McCracken; and his former wife Giovanna Castro.
He is survived by: his friend Sharon Gillespie; and his girlfriend Sharon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
For many years Robert served as treasurer of Operation Dignity, a charity organized as a means of providing monthly financial assistance to needy families of Pan American retired pilots.
