He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Orman Newton McDaniel and Caroline Mabel McDaniel; his wife Chonthicha "Joy" McDaniel; his daughters, Joni Louque and Malena Southworth; his sons-in-law, Ron Louque II and Michael Southworth; his grandchildren, Jonah Louque, Maren "Mimi" Louque, Dane Southworth, Isla Southworth and Jude Southworth; his siblings, Leonard McDaniel (Gloria), Susan Smith and Ella Jo Lamonds; and his siblings-in-law, Merlin Smith and Mark LaMonds. He was also cherished by best friend.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
