It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Allen Hobbs (Bushnell, Florida), born in Scottville, Illinois, who passed away on September 8, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hobbs and Eula Hobbs; and his son George T. "Ted" (Rita H.). He is survived by: his siblings, William, Francis, Helen and Mary Alice; his children, Jonathan Wade (Barbara), Trent Allen (Julie) and Stacey Franzen (Kyle); and his grandchildren, Theodore "Teddy", Curtis, Sean, Megan, Emily, Jackson and Blake. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
