He was predeceased by: his parents, R. B. Dixon (Rupert) and Ruth Dixon (Owens); and his son Jimmy. He is survived by: his wife Faye Adams; his daughters, Sandee Howell (Mike) and Gina Simpson; his sisters, Sue Ann Brewer and Eloise Johnson; and his grandchildren, Tim Altman (Brittani), Jessi Simpson, James Dixon (Ariel) and Amber Dixon. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Bushnell or Cornerstone Hospice.
