He is survived by: his wife Lou Ouida Reed; his brother Sylvester Reed; his children, Kerry Reed, Kimberly Reed Lewin, Pamela Reed, Betty Stewart, Jeannie Jackson, Solon League, Jr. and Sonia League; and his grandchildren, Kerry Reed Jr., Kimberly Reed, Sikia Sherrell, Soyini, Erika Jones, Erik, Maurice, Brandy, Solon II, Shakina and Sonia Killabrew. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
