He was predeceased by: his wife Gaytha Hoyles. He is survived by: his children, Robert "Anselma" Hoyles and Lisa "Steve" Slomsky; his grandchildren, Bradley Slomsky and Megan "Mason" Britton; and his great grandchildren, Mason and Maeve.
