He is survived by: his mother Nila Thomas of Palatka; his grandparents, John, Gena Hammond of Palm Coast and Brenda McCullough of Palatka; his aunt Emily Hammond of Palm Coast; and his siblings, Gaige, Vincent, Aaryn, Bella and Lily.

“Hi my name is Amanda I used to work at the creek.. I just heard about Skylar and it just breaks my heart. He was a great person that was full of life. There was not one day when I was working He didn't bring me smiles and laughter. One of my favorite part was he was having a hard Day sometime after I stopped working at the creek.. one of the supervisors let him call me to get his emotions out. Sadly that was the last time I got to talk to him. So my heavy heart goes to all of you. ❤️”
