He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Vanessa Whitney, Crystal Whitney and Ryan Whitney; his son-in-law Anthony LaNasa; his grandchildren, Joselito Freire, Yaritza Ponce, Angelica Bolton, Peyton Bolton, Seth Bolton and Mia Bolton; his great grandchild Noe Freire; his father Leonard Whitney; his siblings, Wayne Whitney (Belinda Whitney), Mark Whitney (Doreen Whitney), Brian Whitney (Janine Whitney), Dale Whitney (Katherine) and Fay Whitney Matalenas (Michael Matalenas); and his mother Elizabeth Whitney. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces.
