It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel J Tilton in Bunnell, Florida, who passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, S. J. Tilton and Florence Whitaker Tilton; and his granddaughter Jaylin Tilton. He is survived by: his wife Elissa Cowart Tilton; his children, S. J. Tilton III, Jerry Tilton (Maria), Jimmie Sue Casale and Jill Garrett (Mike); and his brother Austin Tilton. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 8 1/2 great grandchildren.
