He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Gorman Gandy, Sr. and Diane Wert; his sister Charlene Cayton; and his nephew Billy Bouno. He is survived by: his wife Rena Gandy; his daughter Christine Gandy Unofficial; his adoptive parents, Dellas Sorenson and Colleen Sorenson; his siblings, Dede Avery (Scott) and Cecelia Williamson; his uncle Mike Wert; and his nieces and nephews, Shawn York, Jeffrey Bouno (Devin), Jeffrey Avery (Brandy), Timothy Avery, Rob Avery, Ashley Salter (Kevin), Janna Gardner (Brian), Alice Williamson and Carl Bowdre.
