He is survived by: his children, Paul James Slay of Bryceville, Angeline Slay of Bryceville, Martha Hunt (Christopher) of Orange Park, Trisha Ann Pilotta (Nick) of Callahan, Dana Lopez (Johnny) of Callahan and Willeen Slay of Jacksonville; his siblings, Sampson Lucas, Bambi Holman and Delilah Holman; his former wives, Nina Higginbotham and Catherine Combs; his grandchildren, Marissa Madore, Juilanna Campbell, Joseph Price, Levi McGee, Zander Hunt, Dakota Graham, Stella Hunt, Charity Crews, Chasity Crews, Lance Pickett, Destiny Politta, Michael Pilotta, Gauge Hendricks and Hayden Lopez; and his great grandchildren, Luke Gatlin, Landon Gatlin, Mackenzie Pickett, Dalton Pickett and Riley Pickett.
