It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Keith Sumpter of Brooksville, Florida, born in Chapin, Illinois, who passed away on September 24, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Jean Sumpter; his children, Wayne Sumpter (Karen) of Omaha, NE, Karen Overbey (Buck) of Little Rock, AR and Laurie Sumpter of Brooksville, FL; and his siblings, Eugene Sumpter of Jacksonville, IL and Daisy Sanders of Meredosia, IL.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
